This week was so amazing!!! Thanks to the fam for sending so many fruits and veggies- we have been in heaven:)
But besides that, we have been seeing so many cool miracles as we have been out finding new investigators! We were knocking an apt complex (those are the best cause people move in and out all the time and we get a lot of military people) and this Samoan guy lets us in and his apt is so cool! So decked out in culture stuff. And then he teaches us some Samoan words and we talk and find out he has a sister in Utah who is mormon. And he knows a lot of islander people in our ward in Lawton. And he is ready to hear more! So his name is Sani, pray for him!
And we've been having lots of hilarious experiences as my companion is a little nerdy- and so into anime. So we were talking to this lady who was cutting down bamboo that was growing wild in her yard. And right before we leave, my comp is like, "Can I have some of this bamboo? I want to make a couple of bamboo swords." This lady stares at us like we're crazy. but then says yes and soon we (well, my comp) is biking down the road with two 6 ft long bamboo poles. And cars are passing us and you can just see their expressions, "There goes those mormons" haha i was dying with embarrassment but mostly it was just funny!
